Just got home from the gym. Christy is off today and we are going to lunch at Sweet Tomatoes with a friend.

Finished watching House of Cards. Great ending and they left it so that there is plenty left for another season with ending it in an annoying cliffhanger.

We are supposed to go for a bike ride later this afternoon but now the sky is turning black so it may turn into a work day instead.

It's a quiet night tonight and then my wife heads to London for 5 days.

Tell her to bring waterproofs. A hell of a lot of Britain is under water at the moment, and they keep warning that the Thames (the river that runs through the centre of London) may be next to burst it's banks (it already has done so in a few places outside London).

In some places the water in the street and in the houses is several feet deep, and it is still raining!

You joke, but there are areas where kayaks, canoes. dingies, etc are the only way to travel along the road!
