It's a recovered first Saturday of March 2014
 

Spent many hours yesterday trying to recover content on a drive back from the early nineties for Foxy. She had a 300 gig drive and I had a copy of the 300 gig drive so you would think the data would be safe, nope.

She brought her drive over and it was dead, dead, wouldn't even spin up. So I got the drive that I had and tried to mount it. After about 20 minutes finally got it to mount. Wanted to copy it over to another drive but Foxy insisted on taking it home. After that it never mounted again.

Left DiskDrill running all night on it doing a sector copy to another drive and it managed to copy everything to a new drive. Then reformatted the old drive and copied everything back to it again so that we would once again have two copies.

All this because one of the trannies on the drive died last week and a bunch of trannies are having some kind of dead tranny get together and needed pics off the drive of the dead tranny.

I guess I can now add to my services dead tranny storage since I'll be keeping the copy of the drive at my place.

Did find this lovely old pic of Foxy and the dwarf taken by my at my now dead neighbors house. :D

Just finishing up a few things before going to see [Paul] Simon and Sting tonight at the Air Canada Centre.

Went to a dueling piano bar and oh man it was awful

Suitcase set was shoot later so I'm guessing on another drive since back then drives were so much smaller.

That pic is from the shoot we did at my neighbor's place. Same day as the exploding dwarf day and a bit before my neighbor died.

Actually recovering this drive kind of creeped me out due to so many of the people on this drive are dead now.

Saturday was a library day for me. Took all of the books off the shelves to sort them out and store a bit of stuff behind them (wide shelves, narrow books, so storing stuff behind them). It was supposed to take a couple of hours in the morning, but (apart from a bit of shopping) took all bloody day!
