How's This For AWESOME Customer Service From A Credit Card Company!
A little before 5:00 PM yesterday, I got a call from Chase inquiring about a $5.88 charge that was attempted on my Southwest Airlines Visa at a hotel in West Virginia. Seeing as neither of us were currently in WV, I of course told them it was an unauthorized charge.
The rep on the phone told me they were going to cancel the cards & send us new ones via UPS. I figured that since it was late on Friday, we'd get the new ones on Monday. Well, as I was sitting here working on slinging porn, I saw someone walk to the front door, open it, throw in an envelope, close the door, then walk away. It was UPS with our new cards! 15 hours from the time they contacted me to the time I got the new cards |thumb |
That is kind of amazing

BofA has cancelled and sent me new cards four times (one card twice) within te last six months due to my "card being compromised" which is just a total pain in the ass each time since I have automatic debits on each card. No unknown charges though.

That's service! I've never heard of that before.

Wife has had one of her cards compromised and replaced 3 times in the last 2 years. Each time was at a gas station. Card company said the best way to avoid these is to go inside and have them swipe the cards instead of at the pump.

Also with Chase they have branches where you can go in and they have a machine to print your card the same day. I had this done once and it was amazing.
