Thursday It Is
 

Good morning.

I like Thursdays, it's almost the weekend, you can feel it getting closer. Wife is back in Ottawa today and tomorrow working her old job so I'm alone left to feed our daughter (well wife made 80% of everything before she left LOL). Other than that, work work work while I wait for my server to be moved. I had to upgrade server space.

Can't wait for this weekend as we have kayaking and biking plans no that tax season is over and Chrusty has weekends off again.

Just a day of work planned along with an afternoon bike ride before meeting with a mainstream client this evening. Actually I was supposed to meet for the client yesterday but as I was walking out the door she rescheduled which just totally screwed up yesterday's plans.

Thursday is nice, true. Feeling slightly better so that's on the plus side.
My last fulltime job was so demanding and devastating that I lost all joy doing what I like best, fooling around in Photoshop and such.
Trying to rediscover the joy, so I'm just fooling around in that program nowadays.

The daily submits are waiting though.

Today is my last full day of allowing sperm to enter my ejaculate. I have a vasectomy scheduled tomorrow morning. A weekend of sore balls will begin my SUMMER OF UNPROTECTED SEX. I'm hoping to collect several STDs this year. But who isn't?

Spent 2 hours in traffic getting to a client today. Rekt feeling. Now I'm burning time while waiting for some backup stuff and ordering some phone system stuff. Later I'll be coding for my one really big code project. Good times. I long for the days when porn was how I spent my days making really good money. Bah. Whatever, at least things are going pretty well.

Other than that... just normal grind stuff. Slowly working on revamping things. I've been spending free time just cleaning up my one big server and actually upgraded it as they would do it for free. So that's been really good.

I quite drinking last Sunday. Last night my neighbor showed up with a case of beer. He, my brother and I finished that off and then my brother walked to the store for another 12 pack. Damn fool I am I hardly ate anything. Getting too old for this type of thing. Will recover though since I'm having a bit of the hair of dog right now.

But I love Thursday, Masterpiece Mystery on PBS tonite :)

Stressful weekend coming up, sucks

What is this thing you call a weekend? Some of us work 7 days a week!
(but I do get half a day off at Christmas.)

No kidding huh, I'm one of those "some" now too lol.
