blacklisted from smutgremlins
 

Hi all,
Submitted a site today to Smut Gremlin, to find I was blacklisted for a 302 after submission. From what I can gather through the search facility here Emerald doesn't hang here but some of her reviewers do.

I need to know the url of the site that caused me to be blacklisted, I'm a bit worried as to what the problem may be, checked my stats this morning after that message from SG, to find I had over 700 Error 302s yesterday.

Having said that, the other LLs I submit to let me submit earlier, and at least 6 of those would have had the same site submitted as the one that caused the problem.

The blacklist came into effect with my email, which is admin at cfnmparty.co.uk

Any help much appreciated.

was redirecting last week (on the 6th) but since it's back up I'll give you the benefit of the doubt & remvoe the blacklisting.

:( OK not to worry, I done a search on google but it was cached on the 12th so no go there.

As a person who has now been blacklisted, would all of my previous sites I submitted been pulled?

Do I need to contact each LL owner to put my side across?

Not sure what to do here, things were just starting to pick up for me so it's a bit of a kick in the balls lol

Anything you had listed with me would have to be resubmitted as well as anything you've submitted since April 6th to anyone that used the blacklist.

Any listings that you have at other sites that use the blacklist should be fine.

How do I find out who used the blacklist? I did a check on my stats and sites previously listed at SG are still there, so I assume it's from that (redirected) submittal onwards.

Forgive me if I sound simple! So, sites that share the blacklist would only reject my sites from the 6th April, only yourself would have deleted all my sites, correct?

When we find a site that's down, missing or redirecting, we remove everything that we can find by that webmaster - the thinking is why leave other sites up there so they can disappear down the road.

I can't say who else uses the blacklist, because some webmasters wish to remain annoymous.

And we have not yet set up a system to remove blacklisted domains from everyone's lists at the same time, so odds are old sites are only removed from the site that blacklisted you (of course, odds are if the other sites are running linkbots or checkers & they see the same problem, they would have also removed your listings)

If the blacklisting was lifted (I see GG has said he did that) then go ahead and resubmit .. your old sites were not deleted by me. The blacklisting was submitted by another webmaster .. but we all use a shared list.

Still havent got to the root of the problem, host (cyberwurx) couldn't shed any light on it, so I'm really at a loss as to what happened.

All the other LLs on that recip list seem to have had no problem with that url, is it possible there was a problem the reviewer's end? I'd hate to have used up a 'strike' already :(
