Why Me?

I'm not a Christian, yet lately I have felt as if my past sins are catching up to me. Somehow, I am $30,000 in debt for an education I cannot use, and I am working with mindless fools. The shop foreman regularly intentionally passes gas while standing next to me. He even makes fart sounds with his mouth like some sort of fucking cave child. I am so tired of putting up with the nonsense around here. My boss, who doesn't even know how to attach files to an email, makes 30k more than me.

Please kill me.

Cleo 2014-12-11 12:48 PM

Try vomiting on him when he farts.

:) If you like I'll give your details to a nice Christian evangelist who will come round to your place and explain to you why all your problems are because you reject God. And then they will explain how, if you let Jesus into your life, things will get better and you will live a life of happiness and peace where everything is lovely and filmed in soft focus.

Would you like me to do that for you, friend?

ecchi 2014-12-11 02:33 PM

:) Or I could come round myself and explain how, if you use my affiliate program, you will make so much money you will be able to pay off your "student loan" and resign from your job by holding your boss down, sitting on his face, and farting directly up his nose.

When he is next to you you should fart louder and stinkier than he is doing it ... but then again he could feel threatened and that could lead for you to loose your job.

Jokes aside but I feel you UW, in my previous job I was a foreman, my boss very often didn't know what is happening on daily basis on projects we were doing and yet when he visited us once a week he acted like everything what we did was " ... fucking slow and and wrong ... half hour rant ..." then he just grabbed the checks and he was gone. BTW, client was always happy.
Heads up, nothing lasts forever and everyone has it's own ups and downs.

Right now I'm in a bit different situation where I'm doing better for myself and without annoying bosses, but that has its own price. If anything goes wrong I'm the one who to blame :)

Hi UW,

Sorry to hear life has got you down. Why you? Why anybody? (Don't mean to sound like a dick but it's not like God has a plan for us.) Random shit happens to all of us. Just do the best you can to figure it out and fix it.

I've been lurking at GGB as I've given up virtually all my adult stuff. Thinking of doing one site just for the love of it but that's another matter. Thought I would log in to post to your thread.

As I recall, you went to school for a degree to do something very specific. Too bad that did not work out for you. Would it not be possible to do work part-time or full-time related to what you studied? Editor, seminar trainer, that sort thing?

Sometimes, education is not a means to an end but is really just to train our minds to think. Maybe that is BS but someone once told me that. I hope there is some truth to that. Perhaps you could start your own house painting business or the like. If you're trained to think critically then you can apply it to other endevours. It's better than working for a jerk.

Many years ago, I got a BA degree in Economics. That and $1.95 gets you a coffee at Starbucks. I was able to take a few of those courses as credits and then study part time to become a professional accountant. It took 7 years to get finished but it was worth. Can you leverage your degree in a similar way?

Anyway, I justed wanted to let you know that I hear your frustration and I hope you're able to come through it stronger in the end. I know you're a smart guy and if anyone can figure this out you can.

I was sure that I was destined for greatness, damn it. |jackinthe

Art, I have a BS in elementary education and hold my initial certification for teaching. The divorce killed the possibility and desire to pursue that career for various reasons.

I'm frustrated with working with and for complete idiots. I am the only person in a department of 30 with any education, yet I make the least. Even the laborer makes more than me! I am basically an office manager/glorified secretary/punching bag.

|pokefun| Also, even after three years, I still miss my fucking wife. I am, if anything, a pathetic boy.

HowlingWulf 2014-12-12 10:22 AM

It sucks all around - basically you're in good company here. Adult biz is far from it's glory days for affiliates. Lately I've been interested in the Tiny House movement, emphasizing no debt and minimal expenses... still a leap though.

JustRobert 2014-12-12 12:41 PM

Hang in there UW. The holidays always fuck with people.

ecchi 2014-12-12 02:37 PM

JustRobert - I know I suggested sending a Christian Evangelist to talk to UW, but I think you are going a bit far if you want to crucify him!

So have I! The ex and I will sell this house and split the equity when our son graduates from high school in a little over two years. Then, I will have to find a place to keep my body warm and dry. I have a big old boat on a tri-axle trailer that I purchased for $1. I have been considering removing all of the mahogany innards, then re-installing them on a tiny house I would build on the trailer. I wonder if Walmart would mind me living in their parking lot if I promised to dump my excrement elsewhere?

JustRobert 2014-12-12 10:54 PM

ecchi - UW knows I don't want to crucify him. I had the pleasure of meeting him at Greenie's house years ago. We were even part of a wedding party thou we both looked much different for that ;)

HowlingWolf - The tiny house movement is a great idea especially if you are a single man since "most" men don't really need much. Bed, shitter, shower, microwave and a tv would do. Toss the little place on an acre or two of land and be done!

Here is my $1 boat that I would LOVE to tow to put on a small piece of land on a mountain. I could live in it quite happily. http://buttplugballfan.com/uncategorized/das-boot.html

If you're handy, you could definitely turn that into a nice, tiny home. Many years ago, when I worked for a small foreign bank, we had a trader who lived with her husband on a boat in Toronto harbor -- even during winter.

Can I park my RV at a Walmart store?

While we do not offer electrical service or accommodations typically necessary for RV customers, Walmart values RV travelers and considers them among our best customers. Consequently, we do permit RV parking on our store parking lots as we are able. Permission to park is extended by individual store managers, based on availability of parking space and local laws. Please contact management in each store to ensure accommodations before parking your RV.

That boat looks like a great project though!

You zeroed in on the problem. Girlfriend does not approve.

Umm, this may be a silly question, but why not put it in water and live in it? I mean, it is a boat after all, so water kinda seems the right place for it. And lots of people live in boats on the water.

Plus you could save on heating/air conditioning bills by sailing further north in the summer, and south in the winter!

And when you have pissed of all your neighbours to the extent that one of them might kill you, just move the boat further down the river where you got a whole new set of neighbours to piss off!

That is the most common problem.

I got my wife to go along if we are on 2 acres, our house is small 600 to 800 sq ft katrina cottage, we have 3 tiny homes for family and friends to visit and a mini movie theater/great room building with larger kitchen for entertaining when people are visiting. Basically, my own tiny town :)

HowlingWulf 2014-12-14 11:03 AM

I think a 'tiny town' of friends in a great location with a community garden and small park with fire pit would be ideal.

Would that be to roast pig or to sacrifice virgins to your favourite deity?
