Winter Solstice Sunday (2014-12-21)

Good morning.

Today is the winter solstice. The days get longer now and, that's great, for someone like my daughter who suffers from depression.

Not much on the agenda today. I am going to make a third gallery so I can apply for some partner accounts. Other than that, I might watch the Raptor basketball game this afternoon.

Have a great day! |thumb

Personally I can't wait for the long days of summer and the warm, calm ocean that comes with it.

Just finished doing a bit of web work and now going to try to clean the tar off of my cement driveway with my neighbor's pressure washer.

Me too. I really need to move.

I have done nothing productive yet today, but I have made several attempts. So, well, that's something.

Good Day :)

Have a bunch of chores I was going to do today but have decided not. Why clean the house today when I would do it again on Wednesday before guests show up. Probably do a bunch of biz stuff, mostly building galleries for future submissions and things like that, and a nap :D

Christmas shopping again today. And some washing. Washing was easy (bung it in the machine, then ignore) but drying was a problem as one of my neighbours had ripped up the "whirligig" thing in the garden that we use to hang clothes on to dry. I assumed it would be a simple job to replace, just bung it back in the hole. But I could not find the hole!

While I was searching, one of my other neighbours came down to borrow some money off me, he helped me look, we still could not find the hole.

In the end we had to dig another one. We did not have any proper aggregates with which to pack the hole, we used sticks, bits of tile that had fallen off the roof, and even an old meat bone we found in the garden! Hope there is not a strong wind, or the whole thing could uproot itself and blow away (vision of my underwear saying to my socks "We're not in Kansas anymore....").

This sounds eerily similar to my last sexual encounter.
:D
