I am 51 and have been looking after my mum since 2004, when she had a major op outside the country. In 2007 I took her back to South Africa for cataract ops on both eyes. She had a stroke shortly afterwards, which the local black DR. denied had happened. I told him I wanted her evacuated via BUPA. He refused to sign the papers. My mom is a Scottish national, and when I appealed to them to evacuate her I was more or less told to FO. Over 65 year olds pay an absolute fortune to BUPA. Beware, they take your money and give nothing back. My bro and I are are fit and healthy, these BUPA shits refused to pay for Malaria drugs.
