Years ago, when I started my "BDSM books" affiliate program, I followed a link I saw somewhere on this board to buy advertising. It simply went to a page that said "contact us for details". I went elsewhere because asking people to contact you "for details" without giving an idea of pricing first usually means "We are horrendously over priced, you would not buy if you knew our prices in advance, so contact out fast talking sales rep who will talk you into buying something you could have got for less in other places." I know you better now. But I would still not buy if I tried again and saw that message. Also, before going "freelance" I spent about 30 years of my life working from loads of different companies, starting at the bottom and moving up to near the top. In all that time I was either involved in, or knew, the advertising policy of about half the companies I worked for - and none of those would ever bother contacting someone who did not advertise their prices up front.
What I am saying is that if you are intending to start pushing advertising on this site, with a view to making some money to pay the bills, you need to set up a proper advertising page to do so. Or if you cannot be arsed to do that, contract it out to someone like Juicy Ads, who do it for you.
