Wednesday The 1st (aka *12 Years Old)

Morning! |waves|

Based on the amount of TV I watched yesterday, I'm surprised at the amount of work I actually got done. I rewatched Amazing Spiderman 2 & Captain America: Winter Soldier since my memory has been failing me on things that happened last year |pokefun||greenguy|

The Bitch & I also watched a couple more episodes of Bloodline on Netflix - gonna watch the last 2 today |thumb

Other than that, worky work busy bee!!

Good morning :)

Another usual boring day for me working away and also playing basketball tonight, though the hamstring is bothering me the past couple weeks. Have a good one all.

Bloodlines was good. Another great show on Netflix is Magic City. I just started watching season two.

Did just over 8 miles on my bike yesterday. Leg hurt but only had to stop briefly a few times. I guess it is slowly getting better as is the floater in my eye. Getting old is a fucking bitch.

It's that time of month. Doing my monthly invoicing, quarterly taxes and all the not so fun accounting stuff that I have to do on the first of each month.

Woke up to an email for a rush brochure job due today so I guess I'll be doing that instead of making the porn today.

Work up early today to get a jump start on work I want done. Need to update blogs to responsive themes to avoid Google penalty too.

Good Morning :)

Typical work day as usual with a hair cut thrown in. I guess I should close out last month as well. This will surely put me in a funk for the rest of the day!

So I got Amazon TV and everyone everywhere is talking about Netflix. I feel like the guy who bought the Betamax video player just as VHS took over!
(Sorry young'uns, you have to be over forty to get the reference.)

Looking for new TGP trades today I found three domains still listed on TGP trade toplists that were so dead and gone that I could buy them. I can't think what kind of rubbish trade script would keep those alive so long, but if people want to send free traffic to dead domains, I figured I might as well buy them and take that free traffic!

So the rest of today and tomorrow morning will be spent throwing together sites that will look good(ish) to Google, but still re-direct the traffic to my TGPs.

I have a friend that did that - backed Beta, bought all kinds of tapes...we still bring it up when we see him :D

I hear Amazon has more and newer streaming movies than Netflix.

I don't know for sure though since I've never paid for Amazon.

I can watch Amazon on my Apple TV by pulling it up on my iPhone and then streaming it to the Apple TV. I did it once when Amazon was doing a free preview or something and it did work perfectly.

I have Amazon TV but only because it comes with Amazon Prime (free 2 day shipping on basically everything for $99/year) I know they have at least 1 series: Transparent (which I hear is pretty good) The big thing they have in my eyes over Netflix is streaming new-to-DVD/PPV movies (most are $4-5) The scam they also have is that, a week or so before a DVD goes to PPV, they will put it up there & let you BUY the movie for $20 or so. Needless to say, I own a few movies on Amazon :D

Wow, you live on a small island off the coast or something? I got Prime, I get free NEXT DAY delivery if I order before 5pm (slightly earlier for some things).

Actually, we do have to option to get really cheap overnight delivery - usually $5 or so.

Yeah, but in Britain we don't have to pay the extra $5, we get free overnight with Prime!

Greenguy 2015-04-03 05:14 PM

That's because Britain is 5 miles wide!

Like it that way. There is nowhere in Britain that is not close enough to the sea that you cannot drive to the ocean in an hour or walk within a day!

Anyway most Amazon deliveries to Britain come from other countries, as they pay less tax that way. And Britain being an island, that means they have to cross the sea, and still we get free next day delivery with Prime!

Although that said, has Amazon US only got one warehouse? If they had enough warehouses it would not matter how big the US is!
