Thursday The 7th (aka I REALLY Have To Get To My Yard Work)

Already up & out of the house this morning to get some test done that my doc ordered the other day. Was kinda nice to pee in a cup knowing they weren't looking for drugs or alcohol |lol|

Working now, but like it says above, The Bitch & I really have to get out in the yard & at least pick up all the dead branches that fell off the trees while we can still find them - the grass is getting kinda tall since it can't be mowed until we do this. But, I do have to admit, my dandelion farm is looking really good |flowers|

Other than that, yes, I fell asleep watching hockey & I'm getting REALLY sick of seeing this on the IRS website:

I want more bed time...

Up at sunrise because I slept with my windows open which meant that my blinds were open which meant that the sun was beaming into my bedroom as it came up. Plus my cat decided that sunrise was time to get me out of bed.

I applied to be a part-time delivery girl for Postmates this morning. Not really sure if I want to do this or if they will even accept me, but making a few extra bucks each week wouldn't hurt.

Just another day of smut, code, errands and hanging out with friends this evening is my day's agenda so far.

We just canceled our gardener of 15 years. He seemed a little bummed by this but with a major drought and the fact that we have not watered in a year the yellow grass does not really grow. For the most part his crew just comes over and blows dust around so why spend the money.

Anyhoo, back is hurting again so today it will be biz work of some sort all day. Thou I see most of it processing content while watching tv :)

I picked up some supplies last night so I can pot my budding avocado seeds today. I like avocados.

Well I did my democratic duty - I voted.

Waste of time.

Both parties are shit at the moment. Whoever wins we are fucked. Looking at the poling paper the first name was a party who had no chance of winning anything, and for a few moments I considered voting for them, simply because then it would not be my fault what happened, as I would have voted for a party who did not get in.

In the end I voted for one of the main parties, but I am genuinely hoping the other one gets in. I think they will be worse, but again I'll be able to say "Not my fault I voted for the other lot".

But it does not really matter because although the polls make two main parties about equal - either could win, neither will get a majority. This means, whoever the third party agrees to form an alliance with will get to run the country. In other words, the bloody election is a farce. Next week one man (the leader of the third party) will get to decide who runs our country. One man decides, the rest of us are superfluous.

That was a funny video. Now to top things off it actually rained a bit yesterday thru this morning. The grass will probably grow now and I don't even own a lawnmower |pokefun|JR
