Tuesday The 19th (aka Avengers: Age of Ultron)

Morning! |waves|

That's right boys & girls! I have my finger on the pulse of pop-culture!! I'll be leaving my house to go see Avengers: Age of Ultron with The Bitch this afternoon! I do have to admit that I am a huge geek when it comes to Marvel movies - I can watch any of them at any time. Well, except for those Hulk movies....

|hockey| = |zzzzzzzzz

But, before that, I watched this really strange doc on Netflix called Tabloid. From Wiki:
Quote:

Tabloid is a 2010 American documentary film by Errol Morris. It tells the story of Joyce McKinney who in the 70s was accused of kidnapping and raping Kirk Anderson, an American Mormon missionary. The incident, known as the Mormon sex in chains case, became a major tabloid story in Britain and triggered a circulation battle between two popular newspapers, The Daily Mirror and The Daily Express.
I'd never heard of this kook before, but maybe some of you Brits have - it's a little slow & "WTF am I watching" at the beginning, but once the kink of the story starts to unfold, it gets really good |thumb

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to do a Google Image Search for nude pics of Joyce McKinney & her lovely puffies |boobies|

No Avengers or Mormons this morning.

Besides spending hours working yesterday I spent even more hours taking everything out of the guest room's closet, bathroom, dresser, and nightstands drawers. Now I've got three huge piles of stuff. One pile to donate, one pile to keep and find someplace to put everything and one really huge pile to throw out. Christy stopped by to look through the stuff but didn't have time to finish so leaving the two piles of stuff that I don't want until Wednesday for her to go through before getting rid of them. She was actually very civil yesterday instead of being Sybil.

Work, gym, client and whatever else comes my way today along with trying to find someplace to put the rest of the crap that I'm keeping from the guest room.

Good morning. Usual day of worked planned for me so pretty much boring all around lol.

No Avengers here either, the wife hates movies like this so I don't get to see it unless I go alone or wait for the DVD which is pretty much what I do.

Well, I'm dead last in the hockey playoff pool. That's something.

Been having some plumbing problems. (house, not me). Plumber supposed to be coming this morning for that.

It snowed here night before last. Was weird waking up yesterday morning to a dusting of white stuff. In May no less. It's all gone today, nice and sunny out there, but wow, enough already with the winter crap.

I'll be watching that Avengers movie.... once it hits MovieCentral (same time as DVD release).

I'm swamped with wriing work this week. Best get to it....

Good Morning :)

Work on the agenda, as usual, with nothing really more to say about that.

Wife and I rarely get to the movie theater any more thou we have gift cards to do so. Just can't find the time and when we do it's for something else. Plus, at this moment our netflix queue is like 160. Speaking of netflix, I watched This Is Spinal Tap yesterday and it still cracks me up.

Came back home Yesterday. (P.S. Why did Canadians get the day off yesterday to celebrate a dead British queen, when we in Britain don't even recognise the day, and 99% of Brits don't even know that it was Queen Victoria's birthday?)

The dogs were pleased to see their owners back home. The husky guessed they were coming back from the fact that I packed before walking him. Most often they get back while I am walking him so yesterday he cut his walk short, and turned back for home dragging me with him. I think he was hoping that if he got home a bit early, so would they.

Last night I got a peaceful night's sleep. No Quacky Duck. No Squeaky Monkey and no Farty Raccoon. And no dogs taking up 90% of the bed and forcing me onto the very edge. A good night's sleep for once without the dogs. And I missed them!

My "finger on the pulse of pop-culture" badge was revoked about an hour ago when I started celebrating because I heard on the radio that "Sons Of The Desert" is going to be re-released in British movie theatres soon! (For those of you too young to know, "Sons Of The Desert" is the most popular of Laurel And Hardy's movies. And for those of you too young to know who Laurel And Hardy are, I despair of modern education!)

Oh I remember that case well. Crime, sex and bondage. The tabloid papers loved it. I can still remember when the photo' on the front page of a national newspaper was a pair of fur lined bondage handcuffs! It was one of those sleazy sex stories that the sleazy British press really go to town with!

1st off: |cry|
2nd, my golden retriever Grendal (RIP) would always get "depressed" whenever he saw us bringing luggage down before we left for a trip to Vegas or whatever other convention/vacation we were going on. They just know things...
