Knowing the losers that hang around here |couch| I have to assume that most of us will be working this holiday weekend? I know I will be |lol|

After yesterday's early nap, I ran my link checker & found a shitload of fuckups that I did, but even though I tried to push thru the afternoon sleepiness with a lot of |coffee I didn't finish fixing everything. So, that's on the agenda for today, along with a visit to the |loony| doctor. Good thing I made the appt really early :D

I also have to |pray| at least 1 check comes in the mail today, otherwise the old biz account is gonna take a hit.

Other than that.........

PS - Still no Fed tax refund :(

Didn't get home until after 3 this morning and then was in so much pain due to forcing myself to do a ton of walking last night I'm running on very little sleep today.

Found out that the ex that shot me was killed in a car crash. We were together for 6 years and then friends for 13 years after that when she shot me in a drunken rage. Suddenly all the anger that I’ve had for her ever since has turned into a kind of sad shock.

Doing Foxy's updates this morning and then I would like to go to the gym but that is depending on how quickly my leg recovers from all the walking that I forced myself to do last night.

Another usual day for me and no long weekend for me in Canada, we had our last weekend which, like y'all, was filled with work. Yah |loony|

Not something you hear someone say every day lol. Always sad when people die suddenly yes.

It's mostly a work weekend for myself but am taking time off to do some stuff with the wife. Tonight we take out the 2nd of 3 kids to now hit 30 years of age for his birthday with most the family. Fucking hell my wife is old :D

Got to do my deposits and bills since I did not do it yesterday and work until party time.

For some reason we get Monday off in Britain too. Can't think why, I mean we are still pissed about that business with the tea in Boston, so why would we celebrate an American holiday? But it makes no matter, I'll be working at least some of it!

Some years back I read a news article about a guy who sent the tax people a demand for interest when they took too long with a refund. I have no idea if he got the interest or not, but the article did say that the day after they got the demand, the tax office paid him.

Or you could try what a farmer did a few years back when he was pissed about a delay in his subsidy payment. He loaded his "muck spreader" with horse fertiliser, drove to their offices, and sprayed the front of the building with over a ton of horse shit!

(No idea if that got his payment through, but it did get him arrested. He later said that it had been worth spending a night in jail to get to do that!) |bananna|

Remember when I posted that The Bitch lost her wallet about 2 months ago? My tax guy mentioned Identity Theft today.

Mine was stolen some years ago along with a bunch of other people's by a hospital worker. They filled fake tax returns in my name. It was a real PITA that my CPA took care of for me. Now I have a PIN that changes each year for filling my taxes.

We have a changing PIN, too, and if this is the case, they filed after we did, otherwise our e-file would have been rejected. So it is possible that their's got rejected & our was put on hold. Tuesday should be a lot of fun on the phone.
