Tuesday May 26th (aka Back To Work!)

I was basically lazy yesterday after helping my girls with their garden on Sunday. Watched a lot of TV with The Bitch & Emerald - nothing special, but I did giggle a couple times as we watched Overboard with Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell. It reminded me of when I was a kid & the only movie channel anyone had was HBO, so if you wanted to watch a movie, you watched whatever HBO had on. I think that's why so many of my generation worship those 80's comedies - we've seen them so many times, they are embedded into our brains!

...then I |zzzzzzzzz during |hockey| and missed what looks to be a wild finish |banghead|

Just work today. Emerald is still sleeping, but I think she's headed back North today.

I need more coffee, that first one went down way too fast lol. Usual day planned, work work work so nothing special going other than that.

I turned on to watch the 3rd period but when Anaheim made it 4-2 with around 4 minutes to go I went to bed. When I got up there I checked my phone to see it was now 4-3 so I quickly turned on the TV in the bedroom to see it was now 4-4 with time winding down. I said fuck that though and went to bed anyway. |loony|

Having a really hard time coming back to life this morning. Did way too much partying over the holiday weekend.

It's back to full work mode today with way too much to do.

I so want one of these.

Cleo, my first thought when seeing it was Robin Williams as Mork tossing an egg in the air saying "fly, be free" :D

Overboard, damn I hated that movie :)
My sisters watched it every day during holidays, that one and Dirty Dancing. I was more of a Coming To America fan :D

Slow week in demolition this week so I'm going to help a friend out who is struggling with renovating his house and I might catch up on some garden work.

I loved Overboard.

Don't love all the work I'm doing at the moment. Need a holiday (a proper one, without computers, 'phones, TV, etc.).

I hear this was Jel's birthday too :D
