Yup! Another niece is living here |lol| Aside from Yell's youngest (who's been here for months & turns 21 tonight at Midnight) we know have his oldest, her bf, and their son crashing here waiting for their new apartment to open up (lease was up at the old place & they can't get into the new one for a couple weeks) All I know is that Greenguy Does NOT Babysit :D

My friends are in Vienna to see Wagner's Ring (insert childish joke here). The entire opera is very long (about 24 hours in total) so obviously they don't get it all in one night. Part of it was performed Yesterday. More tonight. Then a break until Thursday when the next part starts. It is apparently very expensive to stay in Vienna and three nights in a hotel costs many times the price of a return flight out there. So Monday morning they are coming back home, and Thursday morning flying back out for a few more days. I am house sitting for both periods.

This means you will get Puppy News today and tomorrow, they a break from it until the end of the week, when you will get a few more days of Puppy News.

When I arrived yesterday evening "Farty Raccoon" was on the table on the roof patio. I assumed the housekeeper had got fed up of the noise and put it there, where the puppy could not reach.

I was wrong on both counts.

As I got ready for bed he came running into the bedroom, proudly carrying Farty Raccoon in his mouth. He had obviously climbed up on the table and "rescued" poor Farty.

Although to my delight Farty Raccoon no longer farts. The puppy appears to have eaten the fart part, along with most of the stuffing. Farty Raccoon is now almost just an old, empty, raccoon skin with most of the stuffing shaken out of him.

Though there is a little bit of stuffing left. I discovered that this morning when I got up to see the puppy killing the raccoon for the umpteenth time. And as he shook it to death I saw a few small clumps of stuffing fall out on the floor, like the last drops of blood from a dying raccoon.

Just another not so thrilling day of more of the same. :-/

My client for the real estate site asked me to change all instances of TurnKey to TURN KEY. Thinking I was smart I used search and replace plugin and totally screwed up the site. Did another search and replace to put everything back the way it was, but still had to go in and redo all the widgets and a few other things. After I fixed the site I manual went to each page and changed TurnKey to TURN KEY. |banghead|

Now I'm dealing with GoDaddy's not so wonderful hosting trying to get WP mutisite working so that I can create landing pages for the real estate client in WP.

I need to go by some PJs so to wear when my house guest arrives. Might pickup a couple of tops too since all my clothes have gotten too big for me.

Hopefully by the time I get home the changes that I made in GoDaddy will have propagated and will be working.

On the rare occasions I do design work for others I make a point of telling them not to use GoDaddy. If they already have hosting with them I regale them with horror stories until they agree to change!

We have a box filled with what we call "Gutless Toys" because the dogs ripped them open & pulled all their guts out :D Ren often eats the stuffing inside, which makes for some very interesting |mrhanky| problems, as the stuffing tends to hold the pieces together and gives new meaning to the term "dingleberries" |lol|

It got to the point with My Beagle Sammy that I now buy his dog toys empty of any stuffing :)

Charlie don't surf, and Greenguy don't babysit.

Both the puppy and husky eat grass, which has the same effect. Still, in Britain, you have to pick up and bag any |dog |mrhanky| by law, and I suppose it is easier if you just collect it direct when dangling from the dog's ass!
