Tuesday June 9th (aka I'm In A Fucking Funk)
 

Morning :)

Got some depressing financial news in the mail yesterday. Haven't spoken to The Bitch about it yet as she didn't come home until after I fell asleep (during the hockey game |angry|) last night. So I've been in a funk since I opened it :(

Gonna try to work a little bit & see if I can't cheer myself up.

I've had non stop "depressing financial news" now for years. It's going to take me years to catchup.

Worked until almost 4 am finishing up this site. I should be still asleep, but now I'm concerned because I can't find my new kitty (I forgot to close my bedroom door last night) and worried that he may have found the cat door and gotten out. Hopefully he is either someplace hiding in the house or if he did get out knows how to find his way back. He does have a tag with my phone number.

Not sure what I'm doing today. I feel like I should do some catchup on my adult stuff, but I'm so out of it due to lack of sleep that I can't focus.

Need to catch up on a few real life things - new home insurance policy, new printer, put some excess items on ebay/craigslist, grocery store, things like that. Making a new site in the afternoon though. That's about it for today.

I hear y'all on the bad financial news over the past few years. Working as usual now that I am back from my 4 day weekend golf trip. Worked yesterday until early afternoon and had to go to Montreal for my daughter's dance grad thingy.

I have done absolutely nothing interesting today, nothing even remotely worth posting. So its straight into:

A kid came up to me while I was walking the puppy to ask politely "Can I stroke your dog?" The puppy is scared of children, so by then was hiding behind me hoping I would protect him from this terrifying creature. However I stupidly said "You can try, but he will probably run away."

I was wrong. The kid tried, but rather than run away the puppy actually tried to jump up on my shoulders to get away from the kid!

He failed (fortunately, because although still a puppy, he is already big and heavy) however a ridgeback puppy looks a bit like a fully grown great dane (which will give you an idea of how "big and heavy" he is) and to the kid, seeing him try to jump on my shoulders, it must have looked like when Scooby Doo sees that week's "ghost" and jumps up on Shaggy's shoulders!

(Although the difference would be that Shaggy is famously skinny, and I am a bit fat!)
