The Bitch went to Verizon to upgrade a phone & cancel out some useless stuff on our bill ($10/month to use the iPad while not on WiFi seemed like a good idea at them time, but since they - or I - rarely leave the house...) We had a home phone, multiple mobile phones, and Fios all on 1 bill. Well, I guess they thought that was too easy, so about a month ago, anytime you do an upgrade, they have to separate everything onto it's own bill. So, now we have a mobile bill & an internet bill (we shitcanned the home phone aka my old office number) And, we now need separate logins for each, because why make it nice & easy to view all your crap online with one username |banghead| So I have to sort all that crap out today |angry|

Aside from work, I dumped all my old coins into a vat of HP Sauce last night to clean them up. And, based on the smell, that should be this crap's #1 use |couch|

Other than that...

AT&T here for cell phone and internet with DirecTV for TV. Not sure about iPhones on Verizon, but on AT&T iPhones you can turn on tethering to provide internet for iPads and laptops as needed.

It's hot, it's sticky, and it isn't even the hottest month of the year yet.

I ordered a Seiki 32" 720p LED Streaming HDTV for my guest room so that I can charge a bit more on Air BnB for guests. DirecTV is coming on Wednesday to run a cable to the room. So I'll be able to advertise Satellite TV with DVR, with Netflix and streaming music. I have some unused speakers that I'll hook up to the TV. It's going to raise my DirecTV bill by $6.50 a month and Netflix by $1 though.

Speaking of Air BnB I have a guest coming in today. She says she booked with me just because she wants to meet me, plus the vegan resturant is up the street from me.

Just my usual day of work planned plus I have to go pickup my TV that is ready.

I recently looked into upgrading my phone but it turns out I'm grandfathered into the Virgin Mobile $25/mo plan and that's worth keeping. If I switch phones/carrier I have to take a more expensive plan.

Had the motherboard replaced on my broken 52" LCD TV so I listed it on Craigslist to see if there are any takers.

Yell has AT&T and the reception SUCKS here at my house, especially in the pool house, so that's out of the question. Plus, we've had our cell phones for 20 years & have never moved to another company (the local place we started with was bought by Verizon) so the way I look at it, these fuckers OWE me! I'm sure I'll be writing a strongly worded letter if I encounter any issues |thumb

Oddly Verizon really sucks down here. Plus you can't surf and talk at the same time.

Remember that about 2 weeks ago I mentioned getting a new 'phone? Well, right after posting that I signed up for (and paid for) a sim and contract. They fucked up, and it has taken until today to fix. But at least I now have a business "line" for my film production company. So anyone who wants to finance my first feature can give me a ring (Got any of those millions you make slinging porn that you want to invest? Then let me help you get poor again!)

I have that problem to. It has nothing to do with my connection, I'm just lousy at multi tasking.
