Tuesday June 23rd (aka Find Your Thunder Buddy!)
Morning! |waves|
Storms rolled thru here around 4, so I've been awake & working |angry| The Bitch starts her new schedule at work today: 12:30 - 9:00 PM (plus OT), which is really gonna screw up my sleep schedule. I've basically been getting up at 6:30 AM every day when her alarm would go off. While I do like working early in the day, I enjoy seeing my wife a little more, and we all know I'll be sleeping long before 9 PM if I stay on this schedule |lol| In theory, all I'd have to do it stay awake |pokefun||greenguy| until she gets home 2 or 3 days in a row & my body would adjust, right? Gonna head to the couch until she gets up at her new time of 9 AM since, I know if I try to sneak back into my bedroom...|dog|dog |
No storms here, we could really use some rain though.
Another way too hot and muggy day. Took new pictures for Air BnB yesterday. Hopefully I will get some more bookings as I don't have any right now. It's like no one wants to visit South Florida this time of year. :D Doing my usual adult work this morning and then having a bite to eat with an old friend. Other than that not really sure what I'm doing today. |
Good morning! Nothing new here, just work as usual :)
Greenie, that is crazy times to work. Makes for a very late dinner and I doubt you will be able to adjust lol. I stay up until 11-midnight and am up at 7am daily at the latest but I don't sleep much I guess. Cleo, pics look good |thumb |

Good Morning :)
It's starting to heat up and I've slacked on the house due to injury, illness and laziness so now concentrating on getting things in order so we can get A/C installed, the house sandblasted and painted before windows arrive in a few weeks. Don't think I'll make all of it but the A/C is first order. Did my early morning work and now onto the house. |
Was walking the puppy round an old docks today. It is no longer used as a dock, and one side is leased to a fishing club. I passed a guy on his own who had just caught a chub, about eighteen inches long, which is impressive for those waters. He was trying (I think) to get it into the landing net to use it like a keep net, and was not having much luck. When he saw me watching he yelled with relief: "Thank God you were passing.....Please could you take a photo of me with the fish!"
As a post script, as soon as I had finished taking the photo the fish escaped from his hands and jumped to the ground. To be fair, chub are big fish, they are sort of round, like an obese dinner plate with fins (we get the word "chubby" from them, it basically means "you look like one of those fat fish"). It was much too big for the puppy's likings. And when it "got loose" he ran away, as far as the lead would let him! Quote:
