Oops! Almost forgot: I must be doing something right, because, for the 1st time in YEARS, I'm on the 1st or 2nd page of the big 3 for the term "porn links" |thumb Other than words/terms that have greenguy or rama in them, the only other term I've been top 10 on is "unusual porn" (and I blame that on the guy that cleaned all my links out of the SE database, because he missed it since it was on the bottom of the list lol)

Started working on Chubby|mml|Links yesterday. 1st I ran the Link Checker & weeded out the obvious bad links, then I went thru the rest by hand (well, not all - I did check at least 1 site on each domain that has listings) The links total went from:
Gross: 2156 to 1559
Net: 1396 to 1109

Then I swapped out the header & footer banners, seeing as the Hook Up BBW dating site I was promoting only pays via wire & is run by Ashley Madison.
(BTW: I'm still at $0.01/click with that Date Profits program I signed up for about a month ago :)

Already updated LOR & I'm working on answering some Q's a Manitoban Canuck sent me...

Today and tomorrow I'll be photo shopping images mostly while doing the usual uploading and adding of content.

Wednesday I am taking the short 13 hour drive to Nova Scotia to visit my parents for a few days (which is why I was trying to get my laptop working), probably come back Sunday. My Dad is getting a pace maker in Friday, scary but he and his doctor seem to think all is good.

I purchased another aged mature niche domain over the weekend to add to my collection of traffic sites I won't maintain. Hopefully this one won't already be banned by Google. |thumb

I converted and watermarked a ton of .MPGs over to .MP4 the other night. I'm not sure it's a good idea to queue them for conversion all at the same time. It really heats this up my 8-core processor. At least Pandora kept playing during the whole process.

Crazy how the "new" list porn type sites are out ranking you. IMO you should be pinned at the #1 spot.

Started working on the rating system for my site. Made the table where I am gonna store the URL, Ratings, and a field for a text description (so that I can add a search function to the site later).

But got sidetracked. Realized my videos look like crap on mobile so I made a container for the AEBN Iframe player. Gotta go back and add the div id for all the gallery videos, Because I was stuck in 1995 when I first started doing this stuff.

Another update to my How To Make Money From My Science Fiction Books website. This one is on Using Facebook To Make Money.

Like last week's article, this one contains ideas that you can use for (almost) any sponsor, so is worth reading even if you don't use my affiliate program.

Yeah, there's a lot of banner ads on there that are dead :( That's next on the agenda.

Added another page to my Planet Dominatrix Blog. This one is called The Further Development Of The Slave Whip and talks about how the whip used by the mistresses to punish men slaves changed when it had to be manufactured on the planet.

Almost finished the redesign of the entry page(s) on Chubby Links. Right now, index.html (warning) leads to main.html. I'm gonna shitcan main.html & just combine everything into the index page. It looks a lot like LOR now for some reason....

OK, more proof that I am an idiot::

I bought some hard links for the main sci-fi book site, press release site, and affiliate program site. I bought short term links on some "off the wall" sites to see if they are any good for traffic or not, with a view to extending the links if they gave me good traffic. I just realised that none of those sites have even the most basic counters, let alone a stats program!

So my job for tonight is to add my stats script to those three domains!

Other than reworking some olllllld pages, I have been analyzing (pronounced: staring at) traffic. I can't help but be amused by Google favoring mobile-friendly sites while Analytics is not at all responsive.

No idea how this happened, but I just went to check my stats on my jokes site, which admittedly I tend to look at less than once a year, and for some strange reason, rather than giving me the stats per day it is giving me the stats per second!

So today I will be studying the script and trying to work out what the hell happened in the past year to change the way it operates!

Sorted it. It was a server upgrade. I used an ENV that listed the date simply as the day. Someone at the host updated the software so that it lists the day and time, to the second. My script simply compared each incident of the ENV and compared it with the previous one, and if they were different assumed it to be a new day. So It saw saw each different timestamp as a new day, making the days one second long in it's thinking!

THIS IS WHY COMPUTERS WILL NEVER TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
