Thursday 31st December, and Ecchi has at last finished his Christmas shopping!
 

Going to my sister's tonight, for a "late Christmas". Since her husband wanted chocolates and nothing else I thought that as I am not giving them until today, I'd buy them after Christmas when they were half price, and get him twice as much. It worked. With the exception of a bag of pink chocolate mice, which was still full price, and a box of chocolates that was 25% off, the rest was half price or less.

Trouble is, getting twice as much candy, means my bag will be twice as heavy. And when you add that to the big "fuck off" toy gun I got my nephew (still cannot believe a toy gun cost over $40), and the other smaller (but still heavy - mostly books and jewellery) presents, I'm gonna be exhausted by the time I get there!

Went kayaking last night. For some odd reason I got salt burn on my crouch from the water. The only thing I can think of is my seat has gotten a salt buildup due to me not rinsing it with fresh water after each use.

So got out the hose...
Just got finished washing and putting away my kayak on its trailer. Had a hell of a time getting the tarp over it. I really need to find a better way of covering it under a trap. Gave my old car a quick wash too since I already had the hose out.

May or may not get some work done today. Going to a private pajama party at a friend's for NYE.

In the good old USA you would have been expected to give him a real gun, like an assault rifle.

No plans for New Year's Eve. The Bitch works til 9, so my goal is to stay awake until she gets home :)

Good Morning :)

Up in San Francisco and was able to sleep in because no cats waking me before the sun rises, woohoo! Got here a little later than expected yesterday as the house sitter was running a bit late but still able to make dinner reservations last night so all is good. Plus I know the cat will be taken care of while we are gone.

Will probably do a tiny bit of work inbetween relaxing and naps before tonights festivities.
