I updated LOR this morning & managed to press the button over at Chubby Links yesterday to update it with the links I added last weekend.

I'm also going from Windows 7 to 10, but 1st, why not shitcan the current backup HD for a brand new empty one & back up this clunker....which will take til Thursday at the current speed |banghead|

A few days ago JustRobert posted about his 3D porn drawings site. That reminded me I had purchased Poser last Fall, with a view to learning how to use it for website illustrations and seeing if it is any good for movie special effects. I opened the box, looked at the size of the manual and length of the tutorial, then repackaged it, put it on the shelf and decide it could wait until "next week". It has sat there for months, ignored. JustRobert's post has reminded me that as I spent money on the bloody thing, I had better get using it! So today I will mostly be learning a new graphics skill.

Tell you tomorrow if I decided to thank JustRobert or kill him!

Yep.. got a new machine and it has Windows 10. It's not bad.

Other than that just catching up from the shows and stuff :)

Don't need to wait until tomorrow to decide. A few hours with Poser's basically useless manual and I want to smash my computer to little bits then do the same to JustRobert for inadvertently getting me started on this job!

Other than gearing up to invoice or complain to DDF Cash, The Bitch & I have a co-appt with our skin doctor (INSERT JOKE HERE) & since it's her day off (INSERT ANOTHER JOKE HERE)

Ordered a book on Amazon - A Poser tutorial. If it is any good I may hold off killing JustRobert.

Don't go blaming me or Raunchy 3d for you had purchased that program long before I put my site out. If anything you should be thanking me for reminding you of money spent doing nothing :D

I did see a lot of youtube videos on poser so you can search there as well for info.

Oooooh the struggle I had on Sunday, I would have preferred the money remained doing nothing!

Thanks. However I did try them before ordering the book (always prefer free info on the 'net over info I have to pay for), but they are all for individual tasks (eg. how to add hair). What I need (and hope the book will supply) is a step by step tutorial that begins "Step One: Switch on your computer" and finishes "There you have it, your first fully rendered Poser scene." Sort of "Poser For Dummies".

Oh goody, the people who process payments for my bondage eBooks have moved the goalposts again. Fortunately this does not mean my affiliates have to do anything (lost 90% of my affiliates when they changed the style of link code, and everyone had to change links), but it does mean more fucking work for me. So I gotta drop everything and make some changes to my adult affiliate program website.

I was only 1 day off on the backup speed, which looks to be a good thing because I need to reboot my PC & it looks as if the decision of when I go from 7 to 10 will be shortly after that:

In my defence:
A) It is only the "program benefits" slideshow that does not show in XP/IE8, not something that is important.
B) It is really just a test, I want to see if causes a noticeable increase in affiliates.
c) I was in a hurry, so used an online service to create the slideshow. If it works as I hope it will, I'll go back and code my own slideshow which WILL work on XP/IE8.

I'm trying the slideshow on my adult affiliate program come on page, and my adult affiliate program details page.

I was able to Retro Sex Chicks up and added into the network so I will be spending the next few days adding in more content for this and the recent 3D and chubby additions as well.

Back to working on creating a new affiliate site for Alerana's witchcraft books. I am using the affiliate site for my own science fiction novel as a template, in some cases just re-wording what I said on that page. And considering I just admitted to creating a page that does not work on XP/IE8, (three posts up) one of my older pages on my sci-fi affiliate site is a bit hypocritical.

Smashwords have a "widget" that affiliates can use to advertise my science fiction novels. On my site I point out that it does not work on XP/IE8 nor on older 'phones and tablets. And I say, about this:

Just make sure you have enough for the service fee every year or no more Window 10 for you until you pay.

Also make sure you build a Windows repair 10 disc as soon as possible, for if anything happens to your ability to boot to Windows (even something as mundane as windows update automatically installing a corrupt video driver which they have already done 2 times) there is no way to boot to safe mode to correct it without the windows repair disc.

Not the install disc, for resetting windows even with keeping files and folders will reset after it removes all 3rd party programs (even those you have had for many years and migrated fine and even programs such as previous versions of office)

Also be very sure you have a full state backup program installed and updated

I'm still using XP and Vista, so no one updated me! :)

(Actually, I'm also still using a computer with a Workbench/Kickstart GUI/OS, and they stopped updating that over 30 years ago!)

I've heard 10 is a nightmare unless you have a brand new machine and want only to run wordpad. |scared| Many programs/drivers etc have not caught up.
