Wednesday December 19th (aka 6 Shopping Day Til Xmas)
Morning! |waves|
Got a lot of work done yesterday. I think I'm ready for the holiday as far as LOR (change unlinked text from green to red & Bob's your uncle!) JustRobert & I are also going to have Santa ejaculate all over PornLuv for Monday & Tuesday |santa2 Next up is getting shit ready for after the 25th, because I know I won't be working a lot in honor of Santa's birthday. My stepdaughter & the ASSIL gave us an early Xmas gift: Tickets to see the Bills play Miami next Sunday (the 30th) in the same club section our season tickets used to be in. 1st thought: YEAH!! BILLS GAME!! TAILGATE & DRINK BEER & WATCH FOOTBALL!! WOOHOO!! 2nd thought: Yeah, let's turn back the clock 10 years to when we had 6 seats on the aisle in the 2nd row of The Jim Kelly Club & try to relive those great memories as The Bitch & I sit by ourselves literally in the middle of the section (row 8 of 16, seats 15/16 of 30) surrounded by rich drunk assholes that we don't know that I'll get to annoy every fucking time I get up to piss & get another beer |facepalm| More proof that I'm a pessimist: there's a BIG box in the garage covered with a sheet that's my Xmas present from The Bitch. I looked at it & asked "Do I have to put it together?" and of course she said yes |facepalm| Anyway, ASSIL has an appt this morning where I get to sleep in my car for an hour or two, then visiting mom later :) |
Good morning. |coffee
My wife and I don't buy gifts anymore for each other. A few years ago we agreed to just buy the stuff we want, when we need it. It certainly takes the pressure off and makes the Xmas season more enjoyable. The kids -- we just give them some cash (though they should be paying me, the ungrateful bastards). That means we're down to just buying a handful of gifts. I like that, actually. More of my wife's site today. I need to finish the first pass so we can discuss it tomorrow. Other than that, I have to drive across town to pick up a cheque (not check) for some background work. Next to LA, I think Toronto has the worse traffic in North America. It often takes double the time to get around during the day as it does late at night. I am not joking. Oh yeah, Useless if you're reading this -- Happy Birthday you SOB! Have a good one! |thumb |
Howdy |horse|
When I was a drunk I didn't have money for stupid presents. (I've always given to the kids though). So last year I got nothing. Which is ok (and, without them realizing, kinda proves my point). So this year I found something I really want to give my family and I sent it so late they do not have any chance of buying and sending in return. I'm laughing evily all the way to x-mas evening :) Been on a long journey today (by Norwegian standards, u guys probably drive this distance for baseball or something) visiting another branch of my other job. I'm so looking forward to Friday afternoon, then my time is my again. My preciousss time J:)lly |
Had the ultrasound today - no evidence of ANY stones. No real explanation for why I still hurt, but, then again, there is nothing serious going on. Puzzled, but relieved. Tomorrow will be a normal day here, FINALLY.

Man, I hear that loud and clear. I told the Husband last night that we need to get back to a normal schedule. The Cat now refuses to lick the dishes clean and she sucks at doing laundry. Sleeping on our dirty closes only makes them dirtier with her fur!
