Wednesday August 28th (aka Close Call)

We had a scare with our 14yo dog Rufus Pip last night. He sat on the couch all day, not once getting up to eat/drink or go outside. Around dinner time I picked him up & he was very lethargic & just wouldn't wake up, so I called The Bitch at work, she came home & we took him to the vet ER. He was so bad I honestly thought we lost him on the drive over. Shortly after we get there, he's basically fine. So they did tests & bloodwork & everything came back fine. So 3 hours & $500 later, we went home. Apparently, he's just old & was having a bad day.

Before all that started, I ordered Godzilla: King Of The Monsters on PPV & finished it when I got home. I remembered there was a local Godzilla fan that had a terminal illness & a drive-in was trying to get an advance copy but they couldn't & he passed away before the movie came out. He didn't miss anything.

VERY busy day. ASSIL, bank, drug store, etc. followed by my 1st Fantasy Football Draft tonight at 6 |thumb

Not much going on here but doing biz crap while watching tv as I'm in a grey area sorta funk. Not heavy depressed type of funk just the kind where ya just want to sit on the couch and veg.

Glad Rufus is ok as he is a sweet dog.
