Not much going on, but when is there ever in my wild & carefree life :D We are dog-sitting this weekend, so I've got 4 little fuckers annoying me.

This is the worst shopping day of the year! I've got to pick up a few things today and the stores were closed yesterday and will be tomorrow. Add to that COVID capacity restrictions and I'll be standing in line at some point. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!

The upside is it's getting warming. 8C today and then double digits all next week!

I'll probably due a little work while watching the baseball game today and then maybe a movie tonight.

Went for a few beers with the wife for "last call" last night since everything is closing down for a month |boooo| Work planned today but this afternoon I'll likely visit a buddy if he's feeling up to visitors. Paid to get a Covid test Thursday since they're not free unless you were exposed or feeling symptoms, which I was neither, it came back last night, all clean |thumb

Was at an easter party yesterday...too old for that shit, on the couch today watching football :)

When I first moved to Finland 10 years ago, there were no stores open on holidays. By law, they had to shut down. For Easter, that means 4 days as Good Friday and Easter Monday are both legal holidays here. Even in the big cities, things shut down on Friday and Monday. Now, it is no longer law and stores get to make their own choices, so it is hit and miss. You just learn to check the signs or Facebook pages in advance.

I had thought of steaks, but the butcher we use is.. closed .. until Tuesday. Gotta love living in the sticks. The grocery store had nothing as nice as hand cut filets so we will do it another day.

Our lockdown was supposed to only be through March 28th, but it has been extended through mid-April. Our infection rate is coming down, though the number (and age) of those in ICQ is still rising. All we can do is be patient and enjoy the beginnings of spring. Don't go out on the ice!!
