Question for LL owners re amount of recips
 

Hi all,

What is now an acceptable level of recip links on an index page? I usually go for 8, have gone so far as 10 recips but no more. I note more and more sites with a greater number of recips, especially as the preferred etiquette is to have the big LLs grouped together. Is 16 recips pushing it a bit?

I think 6-12 recips is a nice range...

Lately, aside from a few warning pages that I worked on to make them a little more "special" than the others, I've been putting up 9 in a 3x3 table.

I use the same tactic as GG.

I prefer more then too little.

Whatever it takes to get a decent amount of traffic to the page besides the traffic that CL will be sending to the page.
