Hey guys. Feeling a 41 year old loss. Teen crush has died from covid. She died from exposure to untested mom.

She was a good soul. Fuck...

Thanks for the response, Greenie. I was pretty gutted last night. Also had too much, |cheers| in dealing with the news. My friend and I had been out of touch for most of the past year and when I asked a mutual friend if she was okay, got the news. I knew her for 40+ years. Last night felt like being hit by a semi truck and dragged for a few miles.

She died pre-vaccine apparently. She was a respiratory nurse in an ICU unit. She caught COVID from her mom who had not been tested. 6 strokes later she passed. 6. I would not want to be her mom.

She was the most sensible, responsible person I've known. Its unthinkable to me she is gone. |sars|

Doctor appt #3 for my stomach this morning. Pretty sure I have a scope scheduled for next month.

I haven't been sleeping well, which is odd for me lately.

The Beatles Get Back rockumentary was supposed to be released on Disney+ this Friday, but now it's postponed til Nov 25th |angry|

JAI-LING, sorry for your loss. This covid virus really hits home when someone you know and liked passes from it.

Worked my ass off yesterday on my new project. Hurting quite a bit but need to do something outside. Not sure how to go about the next step so going to work on the yard instead since the collectors emptied my 2 green bins yesterday.

Thanks guys. She is the first person I've known personally to catch it and die. She was kind of a mom figure for a group of us who all moved together from the South to Boston. She was the glue for many years.
