Friday 2022-12-09 aka I Got Bupkis!

Yesterday was pretty uneventful. Not sure if that's good or bad|lol|

Just work on the agenda for today, but we have been having a few |cheers| on Friday evenings, so we shall see.

BIL is out of the hospital but the diagnosis is still not complete. He goes back as an out patient on Monday and Wednesday for more tests. Here a list of what's wrong with him:

- Minor stroke (as seen on the MRI)
- Arthritis through out his body
- Elevated liver counts
- Anemia
- Fatty liver
- Start of Kidney Failure
- Minor Pneumonia
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Unusually slow heartbeat (29 BPM at night!)
- possible Sarcoidosis (inflammation of the lung and surrounding organs)

That a lot of thing wrong with him! That last one is something new they've been working on when they couldn't find any cancer in him.

Outwardly though, he seems his usual self. The next few years are going to be tough for him.

Working away at my desk at mostly accounting things today. I'm on duty for dinner. I'll be making fish tacos. The usual Rummikub and Eurchre after that.

Late Eve almost tomorrow for some of you,

Art, that's a lot of stuff and I hope for him that it's not bringing him pain. For me, pain is what brings me down so hopefully that part is manageable.

Dentist went well today though I still have a bit of infection so more antibiotics for me to hopefully knock out the rest.

Also had back therapy today which means I finally got in a full week and I'm feeling better. Have to stay positive and not doing anything stupid!

World Cup games today were great. Croatia |thumb Thankfully I set up recordings so I can see them and stayed away from all media as to not get spoilers.
