Up early to get up my son and his partner at the train station downtown. Next up is meeting with up with my BIL this morning and seeing his cardiologist. I guess that blows the morning.

I'm trying to move a client from Joomla, whose version 3 expires this week, to WordPress. It's going quite well but there is a lot to do. Hoping for another good afternoon of work despite not a great night of sleep.

Tonight, I am going to another Jays |baseball| game. It's Loonie Dogs night so all hot dogs are $1. (For Jolly's benefit, a dollar coin in Canada is called a Loonie because the first edition had a loon on it.)

I've managed to do a lot of stuff today, so I've decided that my working hours are over for today.

To save some time I brought along my |dog for a short run. She's getting old, it didn't take long before she was dragging a bit behind.
(But I'm sure she would get F1-speed if she spotted a cat, and I let her go ... |lol|)

I used to know Joomla quite well, maybe 15 years ago.
Is it still being used (when a site gets designed), or are Joomla sites something built in the past?

Speaking of family stuff, we are getting ready for another edition of the Sauna Stove Circus. Seems the wood burning stoves need to be fired up outside before installing them to burn off residuals (or something like that). Of course, the in-laws will be here for it on Thursday, underfoot for the full day. I still wonder how three grown people are going to fit in that small dark room. I would say it is about 6ft by 8ft with a large wooden bench running the long way. The actual working area is only about 3ft wide. His mom has to oversee everything... and neither one of them can lift anything anymore. The poor dears are bored as they have nothing to do but watch TV.

So, I need to get cracking and get stuff done not just for today, but for the week. Oh, and clean. Such fun.... NOT!

I built quite a few sites with Joomla too. Sadly, they went from 2013 until 2021 without a major upgrade so they've fallen behind. If I needed a industrial strength CMS, I'd use Drupal now. It's more popular than Joomla (though Wordpress, which at it's most basic is a blog, is king).

By the way, the 2 dollar coin is called ... a Twoonie ... as in two loonies. Our first bank note now is the $5 bill.

I've been up since about 6AM but I got excited about some work (HP is trading with Nubiles) so I've been working on that.

Now I get to do all my normal Tuesday morning crap |facepalm|

My friend's funeral is Thursday |cry|

Got up and watched the 1st Womens World Cup semi final that was taped on my Betamax |lol|

Need to go outside to do a little work but before and after will be biz grunt work like usual.
