Tuesday - August 22nd - Bad Eye Days!
 

I hate bad eye days! My eyes feel sore and tired and I have been flooding them with drops for the last 3 days now. I am tired of getting the minimum done. I have coding waiting for me. I am hoping after a nap and more drops I can attack it.

sigh.. maybe chocolate will cure it.

Forgot to pop by yesterday, just worked for the most part then took the wife out to dinner as it was our anniversary |smooch| We went to a "nice" local pub/eatery, it's very popular, always busy and often have to wait to get a seat. It will be the LAST time we go there. I got there before the wife who was coming from work and I sat at the bar waiting for a table and just before she got there, we got a table. She came in, I was smart enough to order a wine for her from the bar before sitting down then we waited, I shit you not, 30 minutes before any waiter came over to ask if we needed anything or offer us menus. My beer was empty for at least 15 minutes at that point and the wife's wine was getting low. 30 minutes! |angry| The last time we went we actually left the fucking place because of waiting too long, which I sort of forgot about |huh Well, that's the last time there for us. Fucking idiotic that you cannot service! We were sitting right by the fucking bar so servers walked by us every 1 minute |huh

Work planned all day today then trivia tonight |thumb

We have a family member staying with us and needless to say I'm not getting much work done because the wife is still going to work so I'm talking way more than I normally do. Getting a sore throat from it.

I'm sorry to hear about your eyes, Pagan.
Atm I can relate, this cold is killing me, and today the fever came creeping too. I can't see shit. Writing this short post just kills my eyes. (I know I can't compare, but at least I somehow can relate right now)

So now I've moaned enough for today.

My |dog has been very well for a really long time now, so that's absolutely on the positive side. But my work plans for this week, down the drain.

BTW, did you know Astro-physician Brian May in 1978 wrote the Queen hit Fat Bottomed Girls, with the lyrics "Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin' world go round"?
And now, 45 years later, no one has disproven his claim in this song, and for that reason must be seen as a scientific fact?
