New Spam Rules?
I have been receiving a lot of emails from various sponsors I use about the spam law changes... one thing that disturbs me is I noticed some of the sponsors now say something like...
"The Site respects the right of consumers to control the flow of unsolicited email into their computer inboxes. We therefore strictly enforce a 'No Illegal Spam' Policy." does this mean that we are going to be flooded with "legal" spam because its "ok" now if done right |smooch| |
I think they are speaking of opt in stuff that must meet the new rules :)

yes, thats what I was thinking at first. but some have a section titled 'Unsolicited Email Policy' then they explain how to meet the rules to send it. (I have avoiding mentioning any sponsors in case I am wrong. i don't want to start "sponsor X now allows spam" rumors, but feel free to contact me on ICQ if you want to read the "rules" I am getting. but chances are you use these large sponsors too and already have them) |waves| ICQ 7-377-812 |
