Redirecting to root url

Domain is bncxz.com

There are about 5 sites in my databases and all are redirecting to the root url, which is a fake link list.

http://bncxz.com/video/friends-wife/www/
http://bncxz.com/video/blowjob/url/

Just a couple of examples. I guess it could be a temporary thing, so I'll wait a while before doing anything.

A quick search in my admin found one on that domain redirecting as well :(

Another quick search found submits using these domains:
sexy-nude.net
nyloncash.com
smut-dreams.com

I did the whois.sc thing as well, but there's 58 domains on that IP & the 1st few I looked at had different names & I'm lazy :D

Re: Redirecting to root url

I see that I already had bncxz.com banned.

I caught that one last night too.

I'll have to be sure I have none of those other domains listed.

Hi All,

Just a note about redirecting to the root.

I setup my domains to redirect to the root for all my errors, and on my root I always place tgp / link list / fpa type sites.

I would hate to end up on a blacklist because of an error... maybe I should rethink what I do?

By the way.. the person / domain in question is not me, I'm just posting a reply because I feel if this was a temporary issue, you all blacklisted him for the wrong reason - and this gets me thinking.

My 2 cents,

Terry

Just don't delete your submitted stuff and it will never be a problem. ;)

I also use the root of my domain for my 404. :)

Any webmaster who wants to be around for the long term should be thinking ahead to all possible "what if" scenarios. Those that don't along with those that cheat end up being banned.

Then I'm heading in the right direction. I never, and I stress never, delete my stuff, but I have no control over my host, if they go down temporarily (which had happened to me in the past), then they go down - we all know that happens.

What I did was notify all or most of my big partner accounts, some didnt care but most of them said thanks for the heads up.

I'm a fulltime gallery submitter and I'm working on my own paysites / affiliate program as I write this. I also run a couple of small TGP's .. in case anyone was wondering ;-)

Well, it's 12 days later, and now some load correctly and some don't. Check the two at the top of this thread. Almost seems like an intentional "temporary" server problem.

Unless it's a really bad server setup, the only way I see to cause that kind of thing is to delete or rename the page so the missing page 404 loads.
