Q to LL owners: live of accepted site
 

Hi!
I was just wondering what happens to the site which has been accepted to LL? I know it first goes to the ‘new’ section, than it goes to the certain niche section - but what next? Does it stay there forever or is deleted after some time? Do you rotate sites in your archives?
I just would like to have some idea of how it works.

Different lists are different. At my LL you stay on the category page forever unless my bot pulls your site for no DNS or redirecting or if you do something to your site that breaks my rules.

I pull sites that have not been updated in the last 6 months, as well as pulling those rule breakers.

When your site is in the "NEW" section it's also in the category section with most link lists

Greenguy: what do you mean by updating?

If you haven't updated the site in 6 months, we assume you forgot about it & delete it.

OK – but by updating you mean putting new content (pictures/movies), adding some text, rearranging page design?
I’m asking because I thought I wasn’t supposed to make any changes to the site after it has been approved – or is it ok as long as I don’t break the rules?

You can change anything you want on the site, as long as it's still following the rules.

Or you can change nothing & still have the site "updated"
