No Pop-Ups or Consoles
 

While submitting galleries to TGP's, some or most have the rule of no pop-ups or consoles. My galleries don't have any pop-ups, and I use the popup-free version of the sponsor tours.
So...
On my TGP, my rule is no pop-ups or consoles. I reject the galleries whose sponsor tours have pop-ups or exit consoles. Then, I get e-mails from pissed off people saying they don't have any damn pop-ups on their galleries.
Am I doing this wrong, and is this rule generally applied just to the galleries, or does it apply to galleries and sponsors?

If you state clearly in your rejection email that the site is rejected because the sponsor has popups then I see no problem on your site.
It's your TGP so you can do anything you want with it. There will always be submitters that will keep bitching...

Like Fonz said it's your tgp. Just remember to be consistent. If you reject one or more people because of sponsor "AAA" make sure you don't let anyone else post the same sponsor.

I wouldn't email anyone.

As Surfn said, I wouldn't email anyone too. But then again I'd specifically say on my rules page I don't allow popups or consoles on galleries AND sponsors tours.

IMO when I see "no popups or consoles" on a TGP rules I'd imagine that's about my galleries only.

Yeah, generally that only applies to the gallery itself. Once my visitor clicks thru to a sponsor, they can either pay or die. Once they leave my site without paying, I just assume they set themselves on fire.
