My "new" adult pay site: need suggestions

Hi gentlemen and ladies, the above link is my new adult pay site. If you take a look at it you will see that it is a combination free/pay a bit of a hybrid from the normal pay site.

A short history: Untill April I was an escort and probably the most successful one in Toronto. I had only been an escort since mid 2003 but back in February I was busted by LE. The toronto papers made a fuss of the situation and I have added a link for you to read why.

Well the papers played it up from there with information about me that was news to me. I digress however.

What I am asking for is maybe a critique of the site or suggestions on how I can beef it up to make it more interesting.
If you look at my Alexa stats they are ok, but after the arrest I found they dropped quite a bit and that is when I switched from an escort site to a pay site. I am finding now that they are on the rise again and I am hopeful that I will crack the top 100,000 shortly.

I advised my webmaster that I would be asking others about the site and where better to go than where the experts are!!!!!!!!

I think you need to get a real processor for you paysite. Also 34.95 for a year is not the way to do it.

In addition to what Cleo has already mentioned I would put some text tease on the index page about how you got busted. Make them want to join to find out the rest.

The site looks great and you're heading in the right direction but the site looks new and that might make a few hold off. To beef it up and increase the heat I would recommened:

1. Add some text to the diary on the tour. Don't complete any stories but start 1 or more and make the text very juicy but don't get to the best stuff. Tease the surfer a bit but leave them wanting more. If you do more then 1 entry try to write about different scenerios.
2. Ask a bunch of friends and ex-customers to write in the forum. Validation is a good motivator and right now a surfer may see only 1 customer and decide that no one else is joining.

The only other thing you may want to do is put the full size pics on html pages with a small but obvious link to join or something.

The site design is nice but your webmaster may want to look at the about page as it seems a little off. All in all you have a good design, you're way hot and with some decent marketing it could take off.

Surfers will pay $20 a month to spend time with you and if you do a live show every week you may get them addicted for years.

SirMoby, those are great suggestions and are similar to what I have planned. I am starting off very cheaply at this time but I plan on raising the price as my erotic and XXX content grows, and it will eventually be around the $20 month mark.

Surfers want instant membership so you need to get a processor, CCBill or someone like that. I personally have no love for CCBill but lots of places use them. Anything but asking them to mail you a check.

Hi Cleo, the price will be going up and I do have CCbill but I also gave a PO box for those who may want some more anonimity.
I am just trying to cover the bases. It seems to be working just fine right now in that way, by far the majority have gone through CCbill.

I do have a question for everyone regarding CCBill. I am holding off on a few paysites as I am told I need a US address in order to get CCBill.. however I never contacted them myself, just listening to what others tell me.. is this true?

I posted this exact same question on another board at the same time as this one. They seemed to be the top two that came up in my search.
What I have found is that on this board the comments although not always positive were given in a positive way if in fact there was any overt criticism.
On the other board it seemed that almost every post regarding my site ended up being critical and a "It can't be that popular there must be reasons for it!!" answer.
I am going to use the information gleaned from members of both boards to assist my webmaster and I in "changes" but I post this to show how incongrous it is to see two completely different "attitudes" towards the same question

I would suggest changing your "I Agree / I disagree" links to simpler "Enter / Exit" links. It may be hard to believe but plenty of surfers are stupid enough not to realise that "I Agree" is where they click to continue. Also some will see "I Agree" as you trying to force thwem to agree with something and not click because of it. Remember, the term "average intelegence" means "the level of intelegence that 50% of people are below".

the index page doesnt show your face and neither does the next page really

but you have enough pics to submit that around and get it linked
even though its a paysite, it fits the rules

Tommy I agree 100% I do not like the index page pic and I was talking about that yesterday. It is going to be changed. I am going to ask my webmaster to change it to one that seems to be popular according to comments I have received. It is the large page picture in gallery 3 me looking back on the Harley.

|bananna| We've improved the look of the site as well as redesigned the navigation system. With all the things Dani wants in there, it was important to do the overhaul now as opposed to later.

Now thats a great look to the site.. There will be some more changes coming and it is good to see that I have a Webmaster who once every few weeks actually listens to me..(LMFAO).
I will also have a lot more content being added and much of it will be video, yes you will get to see me doing something that I seem to have perfected over a number of years, I will leave your imagination to run away with that and I guarantee you will be correct!!!!!
