Cleo, why was my site declined?
I submitted a site called Lesbian Power Play
The rejection email said "URL goes up" I've thought and thought and I simply can't figure out what "URL goes up" means. If you respond to this post and list my site I'll be as happy as a dancing banana.|bananna| |
Rule 24
Your free site MUST be constructed to represent a natural flow. Acceptable: www.yoursite.com/dir/dir/index.html Linking to www.yoursite.com/dir/dir/main.html Linking to www.yoursite.com/dir/dir/gallery1.html etc, etc. Unacceptable: www.yoursite.com/dir/dir/index.html Linking to www.yoursite.com/dir/main.html Linking to www.yoursite.com/dir/dir/dir/gallery1.html etc, etc. So putting a bunch of doorways to a folder of content isn't going to fly at my list. |
For the record, my site's HTML pages are in exactly the format you describe:
http://www.nastysurfers.com/whipped/lesbian/enter.htm Linking to: http://www.nastysurfers.com/whipped/lesbian/main.htm Linking to: http://www.nastysurfers.com/whipped/lesbian/gal1.htm I guess what you have a problem with is that the content is not in the same directory as the HTML pages, e.g.: http://www.nastysurfers.com/whipped/content/1303_4.wmv The reason for this is I put all content for whippedass.com in one directory. However, I only use it once -- every site I make is unique. I'm not "putting up a bunch of doorways to a folder of content." Again, just for the record, my site complies with your rules AS WRITTEN. |
No it doesn't since your content is not in the same directory as your site.
