Need a little help with banned html for my tgp
 

ok..the cheaters are making me nuts and my brains is gonna explode
I bought some traffic and am slowly catching up on submissions..The traffic dude sent me email that there are some toolbar installs somewhere on the tgp and, cause I reviewed, I can't find em..is there some kind of generic html code I can put into my agp sql bot that will find em and delete em?? I am too tired to think..

I know that I'm not the most qualified person to give an opinion about this but I think these among many others should be banned: iframe, open, onunload, embed, setTimeout, refresh.

Man with all these cheats and shit ya gotta block its mind bending what ya gotta to these days just to list a simple gallery :(

Yep, eventually, most TGPs will be partner submissions only

Set the script to block 302 errors and you have them covered.

Are you asking about after they are listed then? Sounds like they are changing them after you post their link.

I have checked to delete and ban those gallery's that change after acceptance..

Amber, since battling with these bastards in my looong blacklist I discovered another scam which seems to be almost impossible to catch: about every 5th hit to the galleries goes to a dialer-/pop-up/startup changing hell, and it looks like it's a script or htaccess thing at the host (nameserver: YCISP.COM). All you can do is 'whois' lookup before you list any new/unknown url (I know - it takes aaages!).

I did a longer trial yesterday with a mate in Holland (doubledrilled) who's running Brownie, and we couldn't figure it out...

Three things I can say:
1. they are not changing their pages!
2. you can't get them with a linkchecker!!
3. there's nothing in the code to catch them by!!!

And, although no as many yet as my long blacklist, these guys posting from YCISP.COM have heaps of domains, too, so domain blacklisting doesn't help much... You blacklist one or two or three, and next day they submit another three!

BTW: I'll be going PASSWORD ONLY submissions by October 1st! If you want to get in now is the time !! since I like to see a few galleries before I hand out a password...

I read that there is a script in development that may help us..I will post more when details become available

I don't know how, but somehow these cheats even manage to by-pass the AGP blacklist - SCARY!...|banghead|

I had one in TODAY'S submissions from woodencock.com (Kirk Levings) and I checked: it's in my domain blacklist for day's!
Now, I enter them as above: domain.com - no http://, no www.domain.com, simply the domain-name because before I found that the blacklist was circumvented by changing http://www.domain.com to http://domain.com or using a sub-domain like http://tgp.domain.com.

Help for TGP owners! Maybe...

Something that has not yet been mentioned is the method they used to show the real gallery to the reviewer and the TGP script, and re-direct the victims to dialers... There is a server side program called Force404. That is how they do it.

There is no easy way to detect it. The best way to combat them seems to be doing a ping to get their IP then using the IP cheater catcher script from Lanoy at wowtgp.com to catch all the other domains that they have on the IP address.

If you can ID their IP range, you can kill thousands of galleries at once.

Now the bad part... Doing the WHOIS and ping takes forever. I have almost 1000 hours in my IP list... And update it constantly.

I gotta admit most of my banned list is domain names and not ip's..shoot, man..!

I have a great method - I don't list anyone elses stuff. It's not like those galleries are sending you any traffic.

I have ato..and am in the process of configuring it to work with my existing setup..I wanted a nice mix of my own, sponsor hosted and partners..this will be my direction for the future..
