How do I get more people to submit to me?
 

straight question need some answers :-)

I have traffic, a simplistic site and update daily I just need to expand on the number of people who send me listings.

so any input would be handy - some times I feel like I am |pissleft| in the wind by I drag my sorry ass off the |couch| sothat I can trade links and do |shake| with some of the other |buddy| on the board

Posting on a board like this is a good start :)

You could try and trade submit page links with some similar sites.

Also make a clickable working link in your sig

And there's not many good submitters it seems any more, and ditto on what kezza said..

I started out with 2-3 submits a day.. 3 months later I'm getting 25-30

If you build it they will come :)

Guys thanks for the imput, the reason I have a bad sig is that I cant ever make them look/fit it in with the requirements.

In a marketing and payment solution adviser by trade - if I knew how to I would have a little gif on my sig but every time I upload it its looks poor and I feel like |banghead| and lobbing the |pcsucks| out the window.

That's where i began getting my submits from.

Not many people will keep submitting unless they see traffic back imho.

Trying to make money... and build up bookmarkers.. and attract webmasters to submit permanently, all at the same time is a hard way to go at the start imho.

If you already have traffic, making sure every submitted site gets a good number of clicks....... and posting here with a Sig link saying you have a linksite, should ensure your submitter numbers build up really fast from what I saw personally when I started a new site a few months back. I have enough regulars now that I dont really want many more new people until the site has more traffic to support them.

I seem to have been lucky and 90% of submits coming in are from great webmasters too.
