Opinions on billing companies sought
 

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone on here has an opinion on which billing company to use for a fetish oriented web site.

CCBill and iBill are my main options, is there a better one out there thats not so expensive?

Any opinions/advice are welcome.

If you are looking for international trade as well as US trade, avoid Ibill they have serious problems with non American cards. I have never been able to make a purchase through them (UK) although I I tried several cards with several banks, even once a friend tried to buy for me with no luck. When I phoned one of my card companies about it I was told that Ibill are considered a bit of a joke in Europe. When I contacted Ibill about it I got the run around, and it became obvious that either they had no one there who knew anything about Europe (this went on for days, so it was not just that the correct person was out of the office at the time) or they were deliberately trying to get me to go away and stop bothering them (i.e. stop trying to give money to one of their clients).

You can then use PayWide to take care of password management, affiliate tracking, fraud scrubbing, rebilling, etc. for 10 cents per transaction.

We are very happy with Ccbill. As fetish site owners, we too have a high % of European members, and it is important that our processor be equipped to deal with them.
2000 charge was a nice option, but since longevity and strength are of paramount importance, Ccbill wins the race by a long shot!

I just added an affiliate program to an existing CCBill website which included moving the paysite to a new server.

I got to say CCBill was extremely helpful and friendly and did everything that was needed to the server including updating all their scripts to work with the new server while we were on the phone with them and answering all our dumb questions on how to setup up the affiliate program properly.

I've even made peace with their new fancy admin. LOL

I just did a server move for a paysite that uses CCBill.

CCBill was installed in two directories and had instructions for what to set permissions and paths to, really very simple. Other then that it was just a matter of pointing the htaccess file in the member's area to the password file.

However after doing the move CCBill refused to talk to the new server until I gave them a call. Seems they have to authorize a new server first and at that time they wanted FTP info and went in and updated their scripts "while they where in there." They did it while I was on the phone in a few minutes so no big deal.
