Should I start a tgp at this free host using their script?

I just ran into this site, wasn't spammed by their url.. that would be great if they play fair.
My financial situation won't let me use a paid host which would be the proper solution so please don't even tell me because I know.. but with mom's medical, hospital and new special nursery bills it is impossible.
I am into a micro niche anyway and could find hard link partners I think.
The link is
http://www.awm-dream.com

thanks in advance

PS
I have an offer from a free host but they badly need the 404 traffic so I declined it.

I hate to sound negative or anything... but I think it is pretty safe to assume that they do not "play fair".

As a free host they charge you nothing. But they still have expenses of their own. And somehow they need to cover those expenses... which ultimately leads to some sort of "unfair" play.

With that out of the way I'll admit that I do not know them so I can't really say anything more specific.

I went to a site that's hosted there: http://teens-dream.com/samanta/ ( http://www.google.com/search?q=%22te...e=off&filter=0 )

I got redirected to: http://d.dialer2004.com/?artalex and Norton AntiVirus warned about "Trojan.ByteVerify".

When I went to the URL a second time, I was redirected to: http://trafficworld.biz/

Contact ICQ on that page is 475584 which is the same as on awm-dream.com, so it's not the page owner that redirected me.

It could be their 404 page, but it could also be a random redirect. I know that I wouldn't like to hit my surfers with a nasty trojan.

digifan 2004-06-14 11:04 PM

Bleh.. it sounded too good to be true then... damn trajan now that's what we don't need :)

thanks!

digifan 2004-06-14 11:16 PM

I got redirected too.. but forgot about checking Yahoo, silly me.

vovanus 2004-06-15 05:16 AM

We're using 404 redirect. Redirect URL is taken randomly from our database. We're trying to ensure that it has no viruses and trojans, but... sometimes and very often our traffic buyers change their pages and install some malicious software. Thanks for letting me know about that, I'll review all the redirect database. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them now. My ICQ is 475584 and I am always ready to help.

Best regards, AWM-dream.com webmaster

Wow, that was fast... now you made me think again :)

thanks anyway!

We do always take care of our customers. You can contact me at any time if you have any questions or comments.

digifan - not to piss in your Cherrio's & even though I do know the situation you are in, building a TGP or Link List on a feww host is a bad idea. Sometime down the road, you're going to want it on your own hosting/domain - how would you move it? I don't know of any free hosts that let you redirect your traffic to your new host/domain.

If you want, buy a domain & point it at National Net & Jim & I will host it until you can move it to your own hosting :)

I am speachless... really.. just came to check if the board is back and your understanding and the helpful attitude and kind offer almost made me cry, I had to read it like three times. Crying sometimes helps with stress, I cannot cry often, not even in the past two trying years so hope this made sense. Even sharing some of my problems with you in pms, on icq was a great help.. thanks for all your support, Greenguy and Jim. And this is not yes or a no, just a big thanks :)

You were right, I haven't thought of the moving of traffic, I found this free hosted tgp link and thought I'd ask your opinion, the people on this board are so different from those on the harsh forums and make a great community. So even when I was deep down I came here lurking but I was here every day...

Ok, enough of my babblings, sorry, may I contact you tomorrow in an email or first in a pm? I'm up for more than 24 hr and can get some rest 8 hr. later only after a few important calls and would like to share the plan and details first and need your advice and opinion.

Thank you so much...

PS
Laugh with me please, I got a strange horoscope today, it reads:
"You're due for a surprise, arriving via a communication of the most unexpected, unconventional kind. No, you're not usually very fond of surprises, but you might just enjoy this one."
