need some help for my freesites

Hi guys!

i create everyday a new freesite and submit this
site with the submittool. The most of the LL owners
send me a message that they list my site. But my
conversationrate is down.

Please have a look on my sites, what can i do better?

I think your sites are very nice. Easy to navigate and very clean :)

My 2 suggestions would be:

1. Have a link/banner to your sponsor on your warning page. You could have 2 :)

2. Use mouseovers to hide your affiliate codes

Good luck

Hi Kezza,

thanks for your help.

But the most of the LL donīt like banner with hardcore
or links to sites with hardcore on the warningpage.
The most of my sponsors-site have hardcore without
any warning-page

Do you think many user changed the affiliate codes?

Your sites look like they are designed to give the linklist owners a boner rather than the surfer. Don't get me wrong, that's a good thing, but you need to work on your text a little.

As Kezza already pointed out, you need some ads on your warning page. A great deal of my sales come from my warning pages.

The main pages on those sites suck ass.. Just slapping some banners on there won't work, you need some good text under it to get them to click.

I believe the global rule is you CANNOT have any hardcore images/banners on your warning page, but you CAN have links on your warning page that go to a page or site that has hardcore images/banners. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but i've been doing it like that with out problems.

Hi josho,

yes thats right, i try to design my sites at first for the
linklist-owners. Because i want to get a good place on
there list.

I read that itīs not allowed to link to hardcore sites on the
warning page.
But i donīt know if there is anybody who check all the links....

What do you think about the content? I only use the freecontent.
I donīt know whatīs the best way for a good listing AND a good
conversionrate:
- only freecontent from the sponsor-programms
- to buy content ( but i need a lot of them, everyday 50 pics )
- to rent a memberarea, so i can use all the content from the
inside

Another Question about the links. Is it better to link to the
sponsorsites or directly to the paymentsite ( because the user
get enough porn on my freesite )?

Thanks

If you would, could you show me the “link lists” that say in their rules you can't link to hardcore sites from your warning pages; I'd like to know, incase I'm breaking their rules.

..

I think that if you start putting sponsor links on your warning pages you'll notice a drastic change in conversion ratios.

My theory, and I'm probably not the first to conclude this, is that:
If the surfer makes it past your index page he's going to be more difficult to convert. This type of surfer most likely knows the structure of a "free site" and knows he can get all the free porn he wants by browsing “link lists”. So chances are, unless you have killer ad text or something he simply can't resist any clicks on your banners are most likely accidental or simple out of curiosity.

Also, I'm not sure how long you've been building "free sites", but I've had zero sales on certain sites then month(s) later when google decides I'm worthy I get a few random sales here and there. I guess (I mean hope.) it just takes time to build up a good income with free sites. I still haven't made it to the income level I'd like to reach. (That's mainly my own fault for being so damn lazy.)

..

As far as your content goes, I really can't say. I've used free content with mixed results. Sometimes if it has been over exposed you won't be able to get listed at all the link lists, But a lot of times if you do manage to get listed it's easier to sell memberships if you're giving them free samples of the content they'll see on your sponsors tour.

Good luck,
josho

You should also consider that many link lists will not list you if you use free sponsor content. That stuff tends to get overexposed real quick.

About using mouseovers to hide affiliate codes. Its simply to make the link more appetizing... not because someone might change your codes. Surfers will be more interested in clicking on a link that in the status bar reads as "http://www.somesite.com/" instead og "http://www.somesite.com/tacking.cgi?userid=yaddayadda?someotherparamter=moreyaddayadda"... if you know what I mean :)

Thanks @all

it really work better with textlinks and banners on the warning
page.

Thatīs right but good quality contentsets cost a lot, because
you need every day a new set.
So i try to use "small" sponsors, not the overused like nasty
or BoB

First of all, I've never heard of not linking to hardcore sponsors from your warning page. What do you think you are linking to on your own pages? Many would simply ask to not use hardcore images on the warning page because they defeat the purpose of the warning. The very first person to suggest that you use sponsor banners on your warning page appears to run Link Fabulous - a big link list that has been around for quite awhile.

I'm assuming you have looked at and studied other people's free sites. You should have noticed that everyone promotes their sponsors from every possible position.

Yes, you should consider doing all you can to please the link list owners, but what is the point of a top position if you don't make your site sell? That's just a waste of bandwidth. Heck, there are a few link lists that will reject you for wasting yours and the sponsor's time by not marketing correctly.
