Yet another night of thunderstorms no power. And, here I am :)

No flooding and no damage...this time.

My son is starting to pester me to go grocery shopping so except for that time, I will be here all day.

Jim - that storm blew past us last night around 7 or 8 - it seemed very "thin" on the radar screen, but looks to had bulked up by the time it hit you.

Might be time for you to get one of these natural gas powered back-up generators like I have :D

I should be here all day, excpet for when I go to the bank to get checks cut for my quarterly taxes (yes, that's today for all you US corporations - LOL)

Our area has been hammered hard with rain over 11" in 20 hours.

We had some dumbass decide to take his 5 yr old son on a rubber raft adventure on a creek that is normally 5' deep and maybe 30' across, but with all the rain it was 20' deep and 1/4 mile at least across.

Raft hits a tree branch and goes pop.....

Has a happy ending though, they both made it to the shore and lived and to make it even happier they arrested the dumbass and charged him with child endangerment a class D felony.

Been a house cleaning type of day. Shampooed my carpets, did laundry, and other housewife duties. Wait I'm not married…
