General Free Site Question

I'm making some new templates tonight and I have a question about content v. advertising.

I want to market the Lightspeed sites for the next month. Would I be accepted if I were to promote the LSC sites like Ronni Tuscadero, Jordan Capri, etc. on the index.html page but used a regular amateur girl as content on my gallery pages? I would use a completely different sponsor on the gallery pages than on the index.html pages.

index.html = Lightspeed sites

second page = Lightspeed sites

gallery pages = different sponsor - non-Lightspeed content

Is this acceptable?

Thanks and have a great week! |bananna|

You'd probably be wise to ask Lightspeed, you didn't say if the Lightspeed content was pics or banners.

You know, getting in contact with a sponsor is one of the smartest things you can do. Sometimes they'll let you do things that are otherwise against their terms of use. I've had much success doing things this way.

That's a great point. I'll get in contact with them in the morning. Thanks! |shake|

If you're not using LightSpeed content on the gallery pages, then that's probably a pretty good idea, since most of their free content, while good, is very over used.

That's the problem with sponsor content, it's hard to get listed with it especially if it's really good, because everyone wants to use it when it's good.

My advice of course is to buy yourself some content. Preferrably from us ;)

I already have content. I was just thinking of different ideas for my free sites |santa|

Did you mean getting in contact with Lightspeed to see if I'm violating their TOS or my idea for the free sites? |couch|

From what I gather - I'm not in violation :)

Oh no - I doubt very heavily you'd be violating their TOS - just that the way you are planning on doing it is a good idea :)
