Better to submit in the morning?
 

I've heard from various people that it's always better to submit in the morning rather than the afternoon or night time because you have a better chance of getting listed. Anyone else feel this way or is it a myth?

I'm not just talking about link lists, I'm talking about TGPs too.

It depends on the script the tgp or LL uses. If it cuts off at midnight you can submit anytime and get listed. If it's once in a 24 hour period then the sooner the better if they update as they review.

Most list what they need first so it really depends on what you submit more than when.

I know that not much of an answer but that's how it is.

Thank God for backups. I was able to recover all the sites you listed plus 15 more except for the second one you listed. I have no idea what happened to that one but I don't have it. :(

Its funny, I hear this question asked all over the place. I am located in the NE but A quick check of my traffic sources (tgp, mgp,free site, and tgp2) revels that most of the places I submit to arent in the american ne. I tried an experiment a while back as I was fanaticle about submitting between mid-3 am us east time and was seriously affected the little bit of social life I had. I switched to just getting up in the morning like a normal person and submitting then (around 9-10 AM east US). The results? no difference in my traffic levels across board. IMHO the midnight thing is a myth. even if your just submitting to US based sites we are all in different time zones, so where is the advantage? east coast, west coast? central?
You could drive your self crazy trying to find the perfect time.

There are a few sites that submitting early makes a difference for. Thumbzilla, for example, closes the submit form once it's reached it's max number of submissions. Try submitting after dinner & the form will be closed.

But like busty1 said, it's not worth disrupting your life over. If it's just a matter of what to do first, might as well submit & then build new galleries in the afternoon to submit the next day.

with TGPs now using preferred partners its not really an issue.

I remember, back in the day, AdultBuffet it made a difference, but like shemp said, these days with all the partner accounts, it probably doesn't make a lot of difference
