odd return mail
 

Hello everyone. Been busy with a summer job and have not been online much.

Anyway....

Lately I have been getting returned emails of some spam medication deal that I did not send. Some how someone is using my email or faking it so the bounced ones are coming to me.

So I am wondering what is happening and if I can prevent it somehow?

Nope...happens all the time to me. There is another thread around here somewhere as well on this. Nothing you can do.

Yeppers, it's fairly normal these days. Here http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...&threadid=8608 is the thread others have commented on.

It's a technique used by spammers nowadays to try to get past spam filters...some people configure their systems to always allow return mail through.

It's becoming a real pain....

I started that other thread. Wait till you start to get viruses from people who think you really sent the spam. |sad|

With all the domains I have I get bombarded at least once a month. I finally just started filtering the returned mail messages to my wastebasket and have them automatically delete.
