Gmail (Google Email) Accounts
 

If anyone wants a Gmail account please let me know. I have 10 to give away if anybody is interested.

Can I ask why the big "hype" is over this? I know it's by invite only, but what is the reason people are begging for these things?

I really don't know what the hype is except that it has 1GB of storage (which you will never use). I got an invitation from a friend and signed up. They sent me 12 invitations to give to other people and I thought since a lot of people seem to want one, I would offer them up for the taking. If nobody wants one no big deal, it's just an email address.

They're banned along with hotmail and yahoo accounts on my traffic pumps. Free web based email accounts are automatically rejected.


And yes I DO keep a current list of all of them. :D

To clarify, I am not avocating the use of Gmail accounts at all. I am merely offering these accounts to people on this board to use if they want one.

I am all setup. It just seems to be more like a "real" email account than most free accounts. It does have some nice features.

Just an FYI about gmail. I had a chance to really check it out last night. I have used as many free email accounts out there just testing the GGandJ newsletter. And gmail is by far, the best I have found. It really does have all the features of an email client on your own pc. Even down to the keyboard shortcuts.
