Here you go http://phpadsnew.com/two/

Do a search on this board for helpful threads about setting up PhpAdsNew.

Anyone tried out Oasis (http://oasis.sourceforge.net/ ). It's free and opens source, so I'm thinking of giving it a try.

PHPAdsNew is good, but is pretty taxing on your server, and has way more options than I really need. Last I checked it still has issues displaying html ads (I don't think it's possible). Also, I don't like how it uses javascript to invoke the ads (easily blocked).

Anyway, they're both free so I guess try each out and see what works best for you. :)

I use PhpAdsNew to display html ads without any problems. I'm using the JavaScript option but it has a bunch of other options as well.

I have it running on my link list's server and it serves ads to a bunch of my domains on two different servers and even some of Luna's domains. It is pretty taxing on the server and did cause some problems with my server like MySQL crashing. Not sure what my host did to resolve the issues but I've not had any problems in many months.

I have made a script (php) that uses a plain txt file for the links...

I finally switched over to PHPAdsNew for one site, and I have mixed feelings about it. I love the various reports and stats. I found the learning curve to be a bit steep (could be because it's so different from what I'm used to). And multiple ads can really slow down page load time. That said, it probably can't be beat if you're running a large number of campaigns, especially if you want to easily monitor performance of individual banners.

If you just need simple banner rotation and basic stats, WebAdverts is just the ticket. It's shareware.

Edited because "multiple" and "individual" aren't even close to being the same word.

The only problem I have with phpads is the slowness of my sites when using multiple ads.
If I could find one that would do it without the server issues, I'd probably switch.
otherwise, I love it

Webadverts is the easy way to go but there are some problems with it. I can't remember what it did but it shut down our server a few times.

If you're talking about a few years back, I think there were some issues with excessive server load that have been fixed in the most recent version. If this was a more recent issue, I have no clue. :)
