Plesk or Cpanel or ? Which do you use/prefer/hate/love?
 

Hey all. I'm wondering which control panel you guys use and why? I would like to hear from the hosting companies as much as the the people who use the panel.

Knowing that DangerDave is a nazi about categorizing every thread other than "Hello, I'm new here", I tried to find the category this would fit in but no shoe seemed to fit properly so I'm starting here.

I've got some funky PHP control panel on my servers. It seems to work well enough and that is all I care about. :)

See, that's the thing Cleo, this has nothing to do with programming or scripting. Since I am a programmer, I would know that. Under NO circumstances would anyone who programs/script make any comment on this as they would have no idea either way which is why I'm asking.

I don't think he has anyone of Jewish decent roasting in his oven or anything like that plus he will list anything so I really don't think that he is a Nazi. Maybe he just likes to dress up as one and get spankings. :D

At www.youza.com and www.10mbs.com we are using cPanel and Directadmin
For virtual servers cpanel is by far the best, as the very easy for even the most inexperienced webmaster to handle all the daily tasks (and then some) that can be needed.
For dedicated servers we use directadmin, as that is a good basic control panel that does all the stuff needed, and does it in a simple way. There is much less fuzz about directadmin than cpanel :)
