Good morning peoples!

I woke up this morning to one hell of a thunderstorm around 5 (it should be hitting Jim in about an hour or so) Scared the shit out of me, The Bitch & the dog :)

I got my new Laptop in yesterday - nothing fancy, but it kicks the shit out of my old IBM from 1999 :)

I also dusted off the old VCR yesterday & watched The Empire Strikes Back, which, IMHO, is the best Star Wars movie ever. Of course, it looked like shit since it's not a DVD, but I think all this HDTV stuff I've been watching is rotting my brain :)

I just seem to be sleeping more and more lately. Oh well, I feel rested and ready for the big Thunder Storms on the way this afternoon. As long as I have power and a connection, I will be around :)

I checked my stats at SunnyDollars this morning… looks like I need to buy a much larger monitor as even with my browser set to full screen I still could not fit their new page on my 22" monitor. Guess I do need this 30" monitor after all.

Nasa's is busy shooting new desktop pics for us. Latest Saturn pics are pretty kewl. :)

Speaking of out of this world adventures… Clouds over Mars seen from the surface.

I'm going to the gym this morning and then after should be around the rest of the day. :)

Good Wednesday all, trying to start planning for a winter vacation, doing some programming and getting ready for some family who is coming in for a week (be here tomorrow). Some family from Alabama is coming up including my cousins wife who has alzheimers at the young age of 53.

The storm just hit Syracuse so it is moving kind of slow. They say, it will be here sometime this afternoon.

We had a thunderstorm last night. The lightening started so I figured it was time to shut this box down. Approximately 3 minutes after it was all shut down the power went off for about 15 seconds and has remained on since. Of course I didn't fire this up until I was sure the storm had moved on. :D

Yesterday I was in my garage looking for some stuff and realized that I have boxes up in the loft from when I moved here 18 years ago and have no idea what is in them. :D

Well - the lumber truck showed up this morning at 7 - new beams for retaining walls - the landscapers have been tearing up the yard for a week - and noise all day - at least it should be nice when its done :)

Kat - I'd be glad to help out - course ya know my kinda help LOL - wish we were down there now :) soon though

That was one hell of a rude awakening, wasn't it? Especially since I had only gone to bed around 3.... I thought the hail was going to break a window.... but hey... it cooled things off a bit.
