As long as the free site you're submitting doesn't break any of my rules, I don't care much what the tld is.

No Problems here. Just don't use subdomains.

Just curious, why don't you like subdomains?

It just throws up a flag to me that there is a good chance that the site is on a free host or some kind of weird hosting solution. I'm not saying it is always the case. But more times than not.
