That's how it's worked for my last couple hosts, can't say 100% for yours. If it's "localhost" for the database host/server, then you should be set, just need the DB name, user name and password.

Probably not. All they needed to do was set up a database for you. If all your domains including a new one are on the same account, you can access the database from any domain.

I would rather have my blog listed in a niche catagory, even if it is with free sites, rather than dumped in a list of blogs of many niches. First and foremost, it would be much more targeted traffic...

I don't use Openads, I use a much older version of phpAds, but I am sure they are still similar in the fact that they can do html ads. Is that what your asking? I've put whole FPA's in to the system...
